Holly Stewart needs a break. Plain and simple. She's been working seven days a week on her family ranch for far too long. She's hired several new people in recent months, one of them being the mysterious Silas Money.

She knows he's not who he says he is. He went by a different name in college. Holly knows, because they both went to and graduated from Texas A&M at the same time.

Silas needs a job - and a safe place to fall - after his acting career ends. He doesn't have anyone he can trust, so he keeps his stage name when he gets the job at Holly's ranch.

He's intrigued by her, and they even had a date set. Then wildfires ruined everything, and life has been so crazy since.

When Holly invites him to "get off the ranch and take a vacation" with her, Silas doesn't know how to act...and ends up saying yes.

Can Holly and Silas navigate their pasts and their current situation and come out together? Or will everything fall apart once life returns to normal?

I enjoyed the story.

The AI voice was hard to concentrate on the story. Perhaps more inflection to the voice would help. But I did enjoy the story.
