Book review

Like these series of books! Great story line. Very enjoyable to listen to on the go.

The plot

I did like the plot and the writing. Overall I really liked it. I did, however, I feel that it put too much emphasis on pushing wokeness. It didn't feel natural to the story at all, but rather thrust upon you. I am of Seminole and Chippewa descent. I feel very strongly in Native American Rights, but everyone focuses on the wrong agenda in my opinion. The Native Americans were conquered and a new nation was formed, the same way every nation in the world that exists today was formed. The land was not stolen. Most of the land was actually bought or traded for, but that's not taught in school. The atrocities came to the Native Americans from treaty violations. America does owe a great debt to the Native Americans for these violations.

I loved how the authors took note on various topics including those with disabilities physical mental emotional and how they brought emphasis on how women should be allowed to say no and be respected for that choice and not be taken advantage of I love how the author brought Charlie and Ava Marie together and slowly developed their intimacy I'm looking forward to the next series
