What in the Plot Twists?!

Well this one took a left turn…I didn’t see any of that coming.

First Sawyer and Jessie were so sweet and I loved the contentment I felt while reading about the relationship growing and unfolding. It just felt so organic and real. It did feel a bit odd at the beginning when he’s so heartbroken over his late wife, and immediately started having feelings for Jessie. I don’t remember how long it said since she passed, I think 6 months?! That felt a bit weird to me. But they worked so I guess alls well that ends well.

Now on to the family secrets!!! WTF. I did not see an affair coming out. In the prologue I was dumbfounded and angry. Juliette is a much better woman than me. Also when it all comes out, again the kids are better than me. I was spewing all the things in my head. And the way Bennett’s mom’s death was covered up…I really wish Beau or Gramps would have told the truth. At least to the family. I didn’t love that Sawyer never knew the truth. Also GRAMPS?! One I love and was mad at him. Him dying was not on the bingo card. But his last chapter and the revelation…I cried. I kept it together until he admitted she wasn’t dead and that he unintentionally killed her. Like WHAT?! I have so many feelings about this one. I loved it, but am hurt and angry all at once. I’m sad to see this series end.

what a wonderful story

I just loved this story. this book was a full circle and tied up all 4 of of the series. I didn't want it ti end

The perfect way to wrap up this series!

Jessie’s story. The only girl, the baby of the family. But, don’t underestimate her! She takes no crap from anyone! I loved seeing her fight for and come into her role on the family ranch. I really enjoyed The Hayden family as a whole. But, the family secrets that came to light in this one! WHEW! I was NOT ready. Such a good read! I will say, the author is gonna break your heart towards the end. Good grief! But, don’t worry, it’s still a HEA. Definitely recommend this entire series, friends!

This series was everything....

The way this story started sucked you in right away. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but I did know where it was going when it started, but not how it would unfold. This family had a loyalty to each other that was different in each book, and was wrong and right at the same time. Reminds me of Yellowstone a little bit.

What a bomb dropper

Alright I may have gotten a slight heads up that this one was gonna get crazy but BOY was I still not ready. The twists and turns are never ending and jaw dropping in the best way every single time. Jessica’s voice she gave to Calamity is so perfect. She’s got this like creamy warmth to her voice that is just exactly how I imagined Jessie would sound in all the previous books. The beginning gives you some strong hints and makes you think you know what’s gonna happen, and despite your prediction being mostly right, the journey and the added plot lines sprinkled in there just makes for the juiciest most deliciously seasoned tale. Tied for first as my favourite with Outlaw. 10/10 would read again.
