With one touch of the stone, Tyron receives his Class and his life changes forever.

In an instant his bright and promising future as the scion of two powerful Slayers is torn apart and he must make a decision.

Will he allow his Class to be purged from his soul, or will he cling to it, abandon all that he knows, and rise to power?

Don't miss the start of the next hit LitRPG series from RinoZ, the author of Chrysalis. Book of the Dead takes on all aspects of Necromancy headfirst, from the tactical maneuvering of skeletons, to what it's like spending so much time among the undead.

The Main character is unbelievably talented and powerful for his level due to hard work, talent, and support from his family but it doesn't help him that much, in fact half the time it makes his problems worse

My new favorite LitRPG

I found this novel to be interesting, though its not my usual taste. MC is blessed with a illegal but rare class.

The difference between this novel and many orher necromancer novels is its much more technical. He isnt just raising his hands and summoning am army. He has to prepare the bodies to raise them his summons are affectef by mana. There is a limit.

Frankly in book 1 the MC cant fight his way out of a paper bag. Well he is fighting the equivalent of bottom tier rift monsters.

However there is a pathway you see develop to great power, but the MC is taking the stairs and not the elevator. I would look forward to seeing his growth in book 2.

A Great start

The MC is a bit naive and there are a few parts where he gets into his own head, but it does feel like the character actually grows into his own and he does wise up. I don't want to say much else for risk of spoilers, but the first two books make for a wicked origin story.

really loved the whole story. not too stat heavy. Just the perfect amount to keep you aprised of the gains. also the realism is great. it's how you'd expect necromancy to work if our world gained magic. great life. totally worth it.

great listen.

This series is excellent so far - I just finished listening to books 1 and 2, and greatly enjoyed the story.

I hope the story continues, but even if it doesn't, these two books are worth a read or listen.

Excellent, highly recommend.
