Cracked Code

I absolutely LOVE Ari and Rat! They bring out the very best in each other. It's sweet and loving despite the circumstances that put them together.

Arianna "Ari" Giuliani and Viktor "Rat" Volkov may have been forced into marriage, but they share common interests and a genuine connection. I appreciate how each is leery and holds back, but when the cards are down, I like that they have each others backs.

Learning about the MC world through her eyes is fun. She's been sheltered for much of her life and I love how Rat is determined to rectify many of the limitations she previously experienced.

As for Rat's past, I'm glad we learn about it in small pieces. It's completely heartbreaking to hear some of the stories. He may have been spared some of the more devastating experiences, but even witnessing a fraction of it is awful.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby, are both really good. They have great pacing and are easy to listen to. The accents don't always match up with the characters, but I still like them.

Another great book in the series!

This is the first series I've read/listened to by Cathleen Cole and Frank Jensen. What a great writing team! These books just keep getting better and better. I do believe this is my favorite so far. The authors write well with great storylines and easy to like characters. I keep becoming more invested in their lives. They make me laugh as well as hold my breath in anticipation. I got warm feelings as well as cold chills. I couldn't wait for Rat's story and was not disappointed! My heart just went out to him. Ari was wonderful. I fell for the couple from the start. Both were living opposite lives but yet so very similar. The story is fast, with some steam, and the couple had a HEA ending. We were left hanging once again, wanting to know what happens next! The audiobook can't come soon enough!

Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby are excellent narrators. I am thrilled that they are narrating for the whole series! They continue to bring these audiobooks to life with emotional performances that have the audiobook rolling like a movie in my head. Great voices. Perfection.

Loved This Audiobook!

Rat, found on the streets at 12, taken in by the Vikings MC, discovers his his identity. He has found his way into the readers heart throughout the series and his story is my favorite!
Twists and turns, unbelievable connections and a marriage to Arie (a mafia daughter) provides a beautiful romance
So enjoy revisiting the reoccurring charters, male and female, and feeling of family
Fantastic MC series with great narration
Hope this series keeps going

WOW!

Hot hot hot! What a book Street rat to hero not a zero! This book was fantastic freaking task. The sex is hot 🔥.
However you can't judge the book by its cover going by this cover! It's a must read. The guy looks like a 10 yr. old.

Things you do for "family"!

I had a hard time waiting for the audio to come out and not peaking at the book. I knew Rat was going to be an interesting and complex character. This arranged marriage was quite entraining. I don't want to spoil which daughter he chooses but she is prefect for him. She is so much more than she appears. I loved how these two grew together and fell in love. There is lots of action and moving parts that will keep you engaged. I was so happy I waited to listen to this one as the narrators made it even more engaging.
