Cute and sweet!

This was a cute and sweet listen. Although there wasn't too much to the plot and main conflict, I found this a pleasant and easy listen which was exactly what I was looking for! I'm excited to start the next in the series!

So boring

This book honestly was probably one of the hardest books to get into. Not only is the plot super drawn out, but the narrators voice was so obnoxious for the Duke, I could not get into it.

Nice story

It took us a while to get there. He had to work for her and it was a long day listening to this book. But I’m happy with the result.

The humor is not well mixed with the angst...

I enjoyed this book because I love Bradley's writing, but her attempt at humor fell short for me... Good book anyway and good narrator!

Pretty Good & Funny Dialogue Peppered In

Unlike many romances, I liked that Giles had to really work to make up for his manipulations with her & that Francesca's love was smart enough to let him before she accepted. I also loved how the rake Giles was still so loving to his younger sisters & that they adored him. It was galling to see how her uncle treated Francesca & her mother. HEAs all around by the end. Except for poor Diana, Giles' sister who was in her debut season before it was cut short. Where is her story, poor heartbroken girl? She needs her HEA, too. 🙃
