    Thinking about lessening the role of alcohol in your life? Maybe you've had a drinking habit for so long that it seems scary to change? Or maybe you think you can't change? Or maybe you want to make changes but you're not sure where to even begin?

    I was once where you are now... drinking a minimum of an entire bottle of red wine to myself each and every night for any and every reason. I thought that I was 'fine'. Doesn't everyone drink this much? Then I started to wake up to the fact that I was inducing myself to feel awful most of the time when I KNEW that I could be feeling better.

    If you're even entertaining these questions it probably means that you are seeking a shift in your habits and you'd like alcohol to play a lesser or even non-existent role in your life. It's possible, and very doable. And you can do it.

  • Using Affirmative Language to help you drink LESS!

    When you start to notice or continue practicing becoming aware of how you are talking to yourself, you will become aware of how your thoughts are driving your behavior.

    When people tell me that they "Got a case of the Fuck its" for example, I ask them how were they talking to themselves in that moment when they were also deciding to have a 4th or a 5th drink or to finish the bottle.

    They always respond that their thoughts were not in a good place at that moment.

    Changing your thought patterns changes everything!

    Notice how you speak to yourself and adjust your thinking to be more loving, compassionate, and nurturing, and see how that helps to change your behavior.
