I don’t know where to begin….I’m wrecked.
First; You FEEL this book in audio to the depths of your SOUL. The audio version of this book reaches into your heart, your head and your gut and leaves it’s mark on you. You will finish this book and NEVER be done with it. This right here, will be a book, a story that you will forever remember the feels and emotions it conjures for you. This book has it all, love, hate, darkness, light, youth and maturity, good and evil, a promise and heartbreak it is SOOOO much more. If you know, you know…..
The characters are people you want to know, the love story is what you want to have, you want to be in the fight with them. The audio narration in duet is top notch, stellar and like nothing I have heard or felt before. Maxine and Joe nailed it….the depth to their ability in creating very different character voices was outstanding! And they brought it all to life perfectly. The way they draw you I won’t let you go takes your breath away! So much skill and talent.
Kate is a God. A creative genius who gives words life and depth I can’t even comprehend. THIS BOOK….creates a moving picture in your mind so vivid that you feel like you are there in it. The whole Ravenhood series is one of my top Fav series. Not going to lie, this book will leave you gutted and relieved at the same time. Have your tissue and quiet place ready so to give yourself some time to sit with ALL of it when you are done. It’s deep and intense and SOOOOO unbelievably memorable. You will be consumed by every single second!

Destroyed

I knew I was going to be destroyed by this narration by two of the greats. The way Maxine and Joe brought this story to life was absolutely amazing, really I have no words to truly describe how amazing this is! Joes “whoosh’s” crushed me! If you loved reading this book, you’re going to regret it if you don’t listen to this performance!!

Great story and even better audio

This story was so heartbreaking. I love Kate Stewart's books-all of them. She is a wonderful writer. This definitely gave me Dom's story. In Flock and Exodus I thought he was such a jerk, the way he treated Cecila. The way he withheld his emotions from her. Now we know why. We know what demons haunted him and there were many. He made the ultimate scarifice for her in the end.
What I also loved about this series is how Kate Stewart uses real life news stories in her story telling. Although these books are fiction, alot of the things done and said truly happen in everyday life. I can't wait for the next story to come out.

Just what I needed

this book is amazing. the narration is amazing. I really enjoyed this dive into Dom.

Destroyed in the best way

This series has been my undoing. I needed this closure from Dominic. Can’t wait to hear the other ravens stories.
