Luke Brooks & Emmy Ryder

Emmy Ryder! I loved how real she felt in this story! Luke Brooks; I can totally see a grown Tim Riggins with his life together. The way he helped her get over her fear for riding and just created this love story! I am a sucker for this and to add a cowboy was the cherry on top.

Sweet Story

Done and Dusted is a brother's best friend with steam.. These characters have chemistry, and I really enjoyed the story.

The audio was really good and an easy listen. If you are looking for a palate cleanser, this is a good one to listen to. The narrators did a wonderful job with this story.

Emmy Ryder has accomplished everything she wanted and made a career out of riding horses. But after a riding accident, it makes it hard for her to get back on the horse so she returns to her small hometown. Luke Brooks has always been the bad boy, bachelor and bar owner. He is also Emmy’s brother’s best friend.

I really enjoyed Emmy and Luke’s friends to more relationship. How he really wanted to help her and be there for her, while trying to stay away and respect that she is his best friends little sister. I really enjoyed how she saw a different side to him.

This is book one in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, and a new to me author. I enjoyed it and will be reading the rest in the series.

Finished in one sitting

I devoured this book and fell in love with Luke and Emmy. The way he helped her find the confidence to ride again and protected her was perfect. I loved seeing someone represented with ADHD, too.

Luke Brooks is Perfect

Luke Brooks has so many green flags, I adored the way he cared for Emmy. He truly wanted nothing but the best for her. I couldn’t put this book down! I can appreciate a brother’s best friend with a hint of enemies to lovers. I really enjoyed Lyla’s writing and I can’t wait to continue the Rebel Blue series and return to Meadowlark!
