Ella

It’s been four years since I picked myself up off the floor and made a plan to escape. Sometimes the grass is not greener on the other side, it’s darker.

University was my fresh start.

A life away from him.

It wasn’t enough. I couldn’t escape the memories.

My demons are not ones you can see, no they’re well hidden. They stay in the dark, haunting every second of my being. I fight every day to be better, to not give in.

I’m back now.

I’m better now.

I can handle being back here in the club.

I can handle being around him again.

At least that’s what I thought. All my well-laid plans go up in flames when my eyes land on him.

Dean, my brother’s best friend.

Dean, the one man I’ve always loved.

Dean

Four years ago, I did the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

I walked away from the love of my life.

She was young; she needed to go and live her dreams without me dragging her into my darkness.

She’s also the little sister of my best friend.

Now, Ella is back, and she’s not 18 anymore.

I’m not going to make the same mistake twice.

She is mine. I will make sure everyone knows it, including her.

She’s claims she’s broken. Broken or not, she is my one.

Always has been. Always will be.

Austin mobby goodness.

All good. Alfa males rescue their women and treat them like queens. Drama endues. Then it's happily ever after.

Great third book

Dean and Ella are tangled in an emotional tug of war centering mostly on the fact that Dean is Ella's brother best friend. His loyalties are with them even when he wants to be with Ella so bad it hurts.

After a traumatic attack, Dean becomes Ella's source of comfort and support. When he finally acknowledges what hes always known, That he loves Ella and she loves him, he decides to walk away... But that can only last so long when you are meant to be together.

Story:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice:🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book was an emotional read for sure! I cried and yelled and cried some more. But it is SO WELL WRITTEN!

I am so incredibly impressed with the authors delicate and yet accurate representation of some huge mental health struggles Ella battles through the book. She is never made to look weak or helpless but the vulnerability is also so raw and true to life I cried along with Ella more than once. Huge props to Ms. Kent.

Once again Plot, grammar, editing are all handled beautifully and make this a smooth read.

Ella was my favorite

I loved Ella the most from this series.
But the recording was the worst of the 3. You could hear alot of background noise during certain points.

Greate story but female narrator was awful

I love this story, but the female narrator was terrible. She paused after every period, every comma, and what felt like every other word. Not a small pause. A crazy long pause. It drove me batty and completely took me out of the story. I kept thinking something was wrong with my player and it had somehow shut itself off. When it was the male narrator's turn, I would get immersed again but then a new chapter would start and the female's long, drawn-out pauses would begin again. Thank goodness I read it before I listened to it, or I would have given up after the prologue and missed a really good book.
