A Note from the Author: Take the grumpy/sunshine trope, sprinkle in a little mafia and a whole lot of over the top possessiveness, and you have Torin and Stormy’s story. It’s heart-wrenching and seductive yet still tender and playful. This one has all the feels, so buckle up!

For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite". My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

Good listen

The story was good loving this series. Well worth the time. Would love to have another shorter version of all those that are married with kids 5 years in the future.

Romance, Mafia, Drama and Suspense all in one book.

The storyline between Torin and Stormy was tense, romantic, exciting and had drama. It was hard to put this book down. I highly recommend this book if you like drama, suspense, spice and mafia themes. Trigger warning if abuse is sensitive you may want to avoid this book.

Protector

He was consumed with her but in a good way. She had already saved her self once, but with his help he’ll be the one there for her in every way. Loved listening to this book!

Great story but a bit fast moving!

I loved the story, the plot, the romance, all of it! It just seemed a bit fast moving romance wise. Although I do understand that Stormy and Torin seemed to have a flirty relationship that we weren’t privy to prior to the start of the book (I read this as a stand-alone so I don’t know if it wasn’t mentioned in the previous book!). Regardless, it was a great read!

Brutal with the silver lining

It was an interesting story, it did flashbacks to her trauma often. They had minimal discussion about his trauma.

I didn’t really see what made them in love with each other, they’d ignored each other for six months and then he just decided to start stalking her, then spontaneous sex, then basically nothing until the ex shows up. They were talking, but they weren’t really in a relationship, they hadn’t kissed and went their own way for Thanksgiving. At some point in time, he decided she’s the only one for me and I’m keeping her.
