A Twist of Fate

Great start to a series! FMC has been through a lot but in the end she gets exactly what she was looking for in a Mafia mate.

Great Story

Finished in two days and off to the next book! Kept my attention from the start. I am eager to see where the story goes from here.

excellent and gripping

I really liked the story plot and HEA. The action and characters were real and fluid.

I loved it!

I found this book through a wonderful group I’m a member of. I was in a slump looking for a mafia romance that I might enjoy. I found it in this book. I’ve never listened to this author before but I’ve already bought the second book! I loved the narrators. I loved MMC accent. And the MFC had to do accents as well. I’ve heard her before in Sadie Kincaid books, but I really enjoyed her here. I noticed there are different narrators in the second book but it’s a story about different people so I get it. I recommend!

So so good. Best Mafia book

So, I have read quite a lot of Mafia romances. This one is so good. Interesting differences from other books. And, the mafia stuff is super believable. Some very highly rated mafia romances make absolutely zero sense from the mafioso’s perspective (making really dumb security decisions or just connections to the mafia life that are completely implausible). This one was great. Believable but also fresh. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next story in this series!

FYI, seems like the general plot from this will continue throughout the series, but this couple’s romance appears to conclude here. No cliff hangers. But I still want to know what happens next!

Good story

I really like this book. Some of the dialogue is fake but they try hard.

Suspense, Spice, Romance, Violence - Check!

Finally! I’ve started to give up on finding audiobooks the caliber of ones that were aplenty a few years ago. The first installment in this series gives me hope…

First things first, let’s give a round of applause to @srmauthor because if it weren’t for the tweet I saw of hers I don’t think I would have known to look for this book!

This book was so addicting, I couldn’t stop listening and finished this one faster than normal. Valentina was so conflicted with whether she was evil or not, and trying to decide what she did and didn’t deserve but I really enjoyed that she wasn’t “woe is me” 24/7, but rather, she had some spice and sass to her! Damiano was just so yummy. The fact that he made Valentina prove herself to him and saw the good in her had me wanting to just squeal with joy.

As soon as Valentina landed in Spain, I kept wondering how the story would come full circle, and I loved how it was done. I was really hoping that she would be able to reunite with the girl (iykyk) at some point, and the fact that they were healing each other was amazing.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out in audio! Obviously my free time is limited, so I can’t read as many books with my eyes… but my ears are ready for more!!

Great story!

I love some a good, smutty book as much as the next person, but this one was also packed with one heck of a story! I loved it.

Perfectly written

I like the dark hero and I also like the girl becoming a woman in her own right. This was wonderful in the beginning to end with all the cliffhangers!
