Julie had a tough start in life. When she started work in real estate, she didn't know anybody who owned their own home. But she buckled down, she learned, she worked on her attitude and she became incredibly successful.

That's already a great story. And after all that, she decided she wanted to write and publish books.

And now she's working on her 30th. That's the kind of woman Julie is. She's an action taker. She's intuitive. She's kind. She's funny. She's a great storyteller. And she's got some tough talk too. This is not a woman to mess with.

Today's Conversation About Power is a special one, because I'm talking to my sister, Julie Coleman.

We're exploring a piece of our family history and how we relate to power, knowing what we do now.

This story started off as a mystery. Every family has these kinds of mysteries - things you wonder about and never get to the bottom of. Our mystery was about one of our great-grandmothers and where she came from.

Julie put her detective hat on and discovered a mass of information. Some of this information was unbelievable, in an exciting way. And some of it was abhorrent.
