Love the way Jake is woven into this book. Very respectful of the way Vaughn is brought back into the story. Also love the plug for someone reading Nothing to lose book which is Lee Child’s book that is source book …kind of cracked me up just a little bit. Also very nice that Reacher called and spoke with Jake.

I didn’t think I would enjoy reading these books, but they’re perfect pairing with the Lee Child reacher novels

In this installment of the Hunt For Jack Reacher we are reunited with some favorite characters. Samantha Vaughn and Jake Reacher join up with Special Agent Kim Otto to search for answers to David Vaughn's sudden death. When Otto gets involved, the probability of two other open FBI cases overlapping sends the trio across the country tracking clues. Carlos Gaspar returns "off the books" to assist Otto in her quest for answers, We learn a bit more about Cooper and the questionable wheeling and dealing he is involved with. Throw in a band of mercenaries and a return to Despair and you will get roped into their adventure.
