What a brilliant debut.
For the love of flying. Unknown Rider gets my vote for best book of 2023. It’s espionage, aviation & the navy entwined in a masterful thriller. Well written & wonderfully narrated by Ray Porter. It’s perfect 👏👏

Not what I expected - better
For some reason, I misunderstood or misread the description of this book. I thought it was a science fiction book. It’s a thriller- a military thriller. I haven’t read this genre in years. I’m so glad to come back to it. This was a ride! Well done!

Book 1 is great and I will be on to book 2.
Our hero is young pilot who has his life complicated when on his way back to the aircraft carrier, the controls are taken over by a nation state actor, Plane checks out ok once back on board, but he is booted off the boat. So there are some plot issues to resolve. Overall I enjoyed the read and will take a look at the second book in this series.
