My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods...or monsters. I still can't decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me.

Then there's Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn't felt anything for a hundred years. But there's something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what's broken in me.

Which could spell death for us all.

Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I'm wondering if I was brought here intentionally—as the bait.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music.

Performed by Melody Muze, Yenni Ann, Wyn Delano, Anthony Palmini, Julienne Irons, Gabriel Michael, Eric Messner, Eva Wilhelm, Drew Kopas, David Cui Cui, Alejandro Ruiz, Chris Stinson, Colleen Delany, Karen Novack, Laura C. Harris, Jeri Marshal, Nicole Perez, Nanette Savard, Nazia Chaudhry and Christopher Walker.

I was constantly rolling my eyes due to the horrible dialogue for the main character. She is such a pick me, annoying and her world revolves around Jaxson, like girl stand up and get a life! The voice actors were horrible; I’m not a fan of the voice actress for Grace (especially in ACOTAR) it sounds like she’s always trying too hard to be feminine and dreamy when it’s not necessary, Jaxson sounds like my father (gross) not a hot, teenaged vampire, and I’m convinced Macy is a rage bait voice… BUT KEEP GOING. THEY GROW ON YOU!!

Have you heard of Tracy Wolff's *Crave*? It's seriously awesome! It's got this crazy mix of everything – dragons, witches, vampires, even gargoyles! And on top of all that fantastical stuff, there's a really great romance and tons of drama to keep you hooked. You should definitely check it out if you're into that kind of thing!

The characters are epic

First off, I generally don't write reviews, HOWEVER, I have seen so much advertising about this book series that I thought I'd take a chance on it. It was...repetitive. I felt like it was not only a slow burn, but that the author also repeated themselves and the storyline throughout multiple chapters and it got redundant. The other issue was maybe the casting for narrators in the Graphic Audio version. Yeeesh, it just seemed like some of the voices wouldn't match with a "high school" aged student. Macy's voice alone kinda made want throw hands and my phone several times, which may seem rude and I apologize, but it was like nails to my ears. Sorry. Not sure if I'm going to invest in more Audible credits into book 2 yet or not.

Not much.

I love the series. I have the original audiobook, but love the full cast experience, however, not a fan of the extra sounds. i wish more than anything I could get the full cast without the dramatization noises. the original narrator for this series wasn't bad by any means but having each character have their own voice, I love more than any

I love this series but
