New favorite fantasy series!

This is seriously one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever had the pleasure of tuning into! Story is absolutely fantastic — reminds me of princess bride in its self awareness and hilarious dialogue. Would give performance a 5/5 but the male narrator desperately needs to work on his British accent. Was definitely distracting when trying to focus on Damien‘s parts. Female narrator totally captured Amma’s essence.

I was so excited when A.K. Caggiano announced these books were being released on audio, and they do not disappoint! The narrators are perfect. Damien has an accent. This book is hilarious! I cannot wait for the rest of them!

Megamind vibes

I loved this book. Reminds me of megamind and assistant to the villain. Comedic, romantic, and over all fun. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Humors adventure

What a surprising humorous, fun adventure! The 🌶️ tension between the main characters is great. Overall it was an entertaining and fun read.

Love but one tiny nit pick…

I’ve read this book before, and for some reason it was a tough read. I enjoyed the story, but the writing style was hard for me to breeze through and really slowed me down. The audiobook was much more enjoyable for me and easier to follow! Only nit pick is the actors seemed to be speed reading, and everything seemed rushed. This was easily fixed by setting the speed to 0.9X!
