Loved this book. We need the next book asap. I couldn’t stop listening I was hanging on to every word

Pretty Good Stuff.

I really like this book so far. I wish books was already out because I absolutely despise Cliffhangers and then having to wait months or even years to finally get to move on to the 2nd book. This book is very Unpredictable! That is so nice for a change. It's so rare to find good long audible books that not predictable and full of filler sex with very little story lines and to much repetitive bs. This book does have some of the repetitive bs going on but it's not so bad it ruins the story. I also wish there was more action and adventure but over all I like it because I have no idea what's going to happen and I'm not exactly sure what I want to happen etc and that brings a small breath of fresh air so to speak to my listening experience.

Love this book!

I did my reread with an audio book. I adore this book but I had a little harder time with the male narrator. He takes a lot of pauses while reading and odd breaths in places. I adore Laura’s narration though!

Great read

It Got a little confusing at times but was overall excellent. I hope book 2 explains all the holes!

Unique world building

Loved the uniqueness of the world building, the character development. Surprises that catch you off guard. The realness of Tessa dealing with trauma and having fidgets to cope with makes it relatable.

A must listen

You won’t understand the story as well unless you listen to this audiobook. That is all.

Tessa

Tessa is so irritating. their is know way I have 5 hours left of this book and Tessa still complaining. I know she didn't want it but she still havnt got the idea to bond so she can have more freedom then escape or something. she is the reason this does not have 5 starts maybe it will change. of it do I will come update my stars.

The narration gives life to the emotional roller coaster of the plot.

Captivating and emotional. Deep themes and good story line. The world building flows so naturally while simultaneously letting you feel for all the main characters.

The narrators didn’t negatively affect the story in my head

Loved the story and the narrators. I started reading the book before I bought the audio. Their voices and personalities fit perfectly with the story unfolding in my mind.

Don’t throw your phone.

Stuck it out and glad I did. The FMC is not like other annoying FMCs for no reason. This FMC is annoying for a reason. Trust the process.
