There is so much going into these books and the world just keeps getting bigger and better I can't wait for the next 10 books! haha

best of the books so far

3rd person writing is weird as an audiobook, like someone talking about themselves in 3rd person. It was very pronounced in the first book, and has gotten better with each progressive book. At this point, the oddity for me is when Riven laid down his expected roadmap for Chicago. It sounded reasonable, but I feel blanket statements who to enslave and punish lacks the nuance he's looking for. Then again, he did just murder an entire city to restore a friend he failed to protect. It's as if he hasn't realized that he's a target yet 🤦

AMAZING ENGAGING STORY!!

This book is about to be my absolute favorite story, and ive been reading he who is fights with monsters and defiance of the fall! The main character is absolutely badass. The scale ofthe story and universe is huge and just addictive. I just finished book 3 and book 4 comes out in 2 weeks feels like im a junkie waiting for my next fix haha If the author reads this, please keep them coming!
