And another one!

Melina McKay and Abby Craden are a match made in heaven! The Headmistress is one of my favorite books and Abby‘s narration made it one of my absolute favorite audiobooks! That being said I thoroughly enjoyed Magdalene‘s point of view in this book. Having listened to The Headmistress way too many times to count, I was able to figure out that there was two points where Abby narrated a line in the wrong characters voice.

Overall, I will say this is one of the best different point of view books that I have “read “. Melina wrote this book in a way that made you interested in the story all over again without it sounding repetitive. It gives you a new appreciation for Magdalene’s experience. It is so worth the read!

Awesome 2nd Book!

Honestly, this was the story I never knew I wanted or needed. At first I was disappointed that it wasn’t a sequel but I quickly got over it and dove right in with characters that I loved from the first book. Having Magdalene’s view point made this story even better. Milena Mckay does not disappoint. Of course Abbey Craden does a phenomenal job again!

Such good ingredients and execution!

Oh Milena, Milena. What a delightful writer you are! Your stories are like a fine wine, only getting better with each sip. And Abby, oh Abby, your narration was like music to my ears. Thank you for bringing these beautiful words to life with such grace and emotion. This audiobook was a true delight. Bravo to both of you!

Mclay and Craden never disappoint. incredibly well done followup to The Headmistress and 5 stars for everything!

What a great addition to her book library. I love Milenas writing stile/characters. Abbey Craden voice is magical.
