God mc book

This book took me by surprise. Did not expect the all the ways the storie turned. Some i expected.

So thrilling!

I loved this mystery romance! Missy was bad ass and Hawk was a teddy bear at heart. I loved how he just showed up for her. And the cult plot that kept building was so thrilling. Makes you stop and think for sure. I couldn’t stop listening!

Sacrifice by Addison Jane (Book 1 of the The Exiled Eight MC - Detroit)

This is the story of Missy and Hawk. Her family threw her to the streets and left her to fend for herself, pregnant and only 17 years old and trying to survive being homeless. She survived and built a wall around her and her daughter and swore she would never again let another person close enough to hurt them.

Hawk was a VP of The Exiled Eight MC in Detroit. He was overwhelming and possessive. His scars told a painful story of a dark and evil past. Those who hurt him were still lurking and threatening his new life. He will have to battle real-life evilness to save his family.

In my opinion, it’s a bit much how much Missy gets hurt again and again. Then the sex scenes were disconnected for me. It felt as though they were added, strictly for the smut factor. Especially after the car crash and attack of his love and sister, it goes to a sex scene? How either one of them could be in that mind frame just doesn’t make sense to me at that time in the story. It has a HEA ending. It was an entertaining story but I felt like it could have been so much more.

Lots of action

I enjoyed this book. It has a good storyline and characters. Strong MFC and the MMC loves his family and is a good person. This is an easy listen.

A must

This is a must listen to really good story. Can't wait to listen to the next one.
