excellent characters, fast-paced story, but...

This could have been totally excellent but it seemed like the cannibalism angle was just used for sensationalism. It made the story a little disjointed and awkward.

It was so interesting and creepy as well . I loved the characters . I might have cried a little too

Not really for me, but nice narration

Sometimes you just want a dark, grimy crime thriller, but I can't say this was incredible. It’s fast and definitely keeps moving. The writing is pretty straightforward, and while the psychological tension is there, it didn’t completely pull me in emotionally. It was an easy, dark listen that doesn’t require much effort and goes by quickly. Nice voice.

Dull and Slow

I typically love Victor’s books, but I found this one very dull and slow. Honestly it was background noise after a certain point because I just wanted to finish it.

Bone chilling!
