About the Creator

Sarah Richards’ debut novel, the crime thriller China White, was a finalist in the 2018 HarperCollins Best New Fiction Prize, and is available as an Audible Original along with the sequel, Born Winners. She has an MFA from the University of British Columbia, and her short stories and nonfiction works have appeared in Carte Blanche, Prism International, The Puritan, Rusty Toque, Room Magazine, The Cardiff Review, Lonely Planet, and BBC.com, among others. Sarah lives in the Pacific Northwest and teaches writing at Langara College.

Sarah Desjardins is known for her roles in Showtime’s Emmy-nominated series Yellowjackets playing Melanie Lynskey’s daughter, Callie, as well as the Netflix breakout The Night Agent, in which she plays Maddie Redfield, daughter of the vice president, for which she was nominated for an HCA Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Streaming Drama Series. Sarah's other credits include The CW’s Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and HBO Max’s Dead Boy Detectives. Sarah also starred in the YouTube Red series Impulse, based on the novel by Steven Gould. Sarah recently joined the cast of Tron: Ares alongside Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters and Jodie Turner-Smith, which is set to hit theatres in the fall.

These kind of writing always drives me nuts! The story has awesome potential but for smart characters they get the most idiot reasoning and do the most stupidest things

Seemed to take a long time to get into the story. Storyline was good, but it was very slow to build interest. I kept hoping it would get there and didn’t until the last 2 chapters.

Fairly interesting story but the use of the name of the island ‘Williwaw’ was so over used! I cringed each time I heard it!
Not sorry I listened to this book as it was enjoyable just seemed a little predictable.
