Ok

I enjoy a good thriller and a good mystery, and I'd say this story is both. I did think the ending was a bit on the predictable side, but since it was just the ending, I didn't mind too much. I was slightly annoyed with the production. I usually prefer my books without extra music and sound effects, and although it was helpful to differentiate the news reports and online writings with a clearly different voice, all the music breaks were a bit much. There were also some instances when the narrator for Effie's voice seemed to read words wrong, as if she was focusing on keeping the accent and her voice the way it was supposed to be, only to say a word in a strange way. But overall, I enjoyed this story.

The suspense factor was on point!

The book didn't have many twists and turns, you pretty much knew who the villain was in the beginning, but there is a great choice at the end. I did appreciate the different facets of the characters and their plots and problems. You really don't find a protagonist in this. You don't want to side with any of them really, but in the end you'll figure out who should get your sympathy. It's a great read! Or listen...

The performance was awesome! I loved the addition of music. The story had great twist and turns and even had some surprises I didn’t see coming. 10/10

I quite enjoyed this book. Some fun twists and turns to keep the listen enjoyable. The acting was great and really helped move the story along.

Psychological thriller that was worthy of the term and the time. It will keep you awake so bedtime could pose a problem.

Had me hooked!

It was really good. Like a soap opera but you know, without the cameras. I really enjoyed it.

Maybe better to read than listen

The music inserted into this audiobook was out of place and annoying. The pause between the chapter number and name was very long, it gets tiresome. The story might have been ok although parts were a bit incredulous, like how much money was spent in the schemes versus how much was made.
Overall, it is ok.

I just loved the twists and style in which it was written.

great listen

This was one of the best books I've listened to in a long time. Great story telling and great narration all
