The world of Rale is being consumed by Nolost, the entity of destruction.

There are only days left to stop him, and only one man who can: the nethermancer Dante Galand. But the mentor who would have shown him how has just been slain by Nolost's armies.

With his last hopes fading, Dante hatches a mad plan: travel into the afterlife, find his dead mentor, and finish training in the ancient technique to kill the entity.

His friends, the blade master Blays and the sorcerer Gladdic, have been separated from him, but knowing Dante needs more time, they come up with a mad plan of their own. Nolost is attacking the secret heart of the world—and Blays and Gladdic mean to travel there and sabotage his work before it's complete. They know it will be a mission they won't return from.

But the war that has devastated the land of the living is exploding across the once-peaceful afterlife as well, threatening the missions of Dante and Blays alike. Time has run out. The final battle is upon them—and Rale's last champions may not get there in time to fight it.

The last book of The Cycle of Galand is here. Resolving secrets both old and new and culminating in an epic battle and its shocking aftermath, the grand story of Dante and Blays is now complete.

I picked up the Cycle of Arawn because it was the trilogy in a single audio book and here I am now. 16 individual titles and 3 series later I am devastated it is over. It has been a fantastic journey that I would jump at the opportunity to continue. I love that each book always expands on an already large world, and adds more lore and things to find out. Great adventures! Definitely tons of opportunity for more adventures, with the same or new characters, so here's hoping this isn't the end!

Fantastic

I started on these series back in 2018. I was very excited to read the last book and sad to see it end. I think it is very much worthwhile end. I wish the author gave Dante an extra half a page at the end it was rather confusing almost like an afterthought.

I don’t often take time to write reviews here, but I blazed through this series and loved every book. This was a great finale to the story and tied a satisfying bow on the plot lines. I highly recommend it!

Have loved these books since I first read The Cycle of Arawn and got to know Dante and Blays the best bromance ever! I truly hope this isn't the last we see of them. I think these books capture exactly how a hero would be. Power hungry, unforgiving to people that get in their way but also very considerate to their responsibilities to their people and protecting them. These books were the hero is just solely good all the time and does no wrong is just in my mind not realistic. I will keep hopping that another idea for Dante and Blays springs to your mind Edward Robertson.

Amazing book series with an amazing ending!!
