I always Enjoy Grumly’ s use of actual science weaved into his stories. Makes them more believable and makes you think about how his story could be possible

How Does He Come Up With this Stuff?

I love all of Michael C. Grumley's plots and books. He's that good. A little science fiction, a LOT of action and adventure, and teeny tiny bit of romance. Well done again, Michael. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great story by Michael C. Grumley

Michael C. Grumley has written so many amazing books. Each one has an incredible and unique premise. I have never read any other author that approaches each subject matter from such a unique and interesting way. There really are no other books like his. The amazing creativity and well-thought-out plot, lines and characters of all of the books he has written is fantastic. Starting with breakthrough and humans talking to dolphins it just gets better and better each book he writes. This novel and sequel are no different. I had a hard time turning it off and going to sleep.

I highly recommend this and every other book written by Michael Crumley to everyone. I do not think that these books would only appeal to fans of science fiction. I think they have a universal appeal and I’m extremely glad I somehow found this author I enjoy so much. I own every one of his books.

With that, the only thing that detracted from the book was the narration. I have listened to a lot of books narrated by Scott Brick. He has a very nice speaking, voice. However, when he’s reading a book with exciting action and secrets being revealed, he has a tendency of emphasizing things the same way over and over again. His voice seems to have the same sense of urgency and excitement all the time. So the pace and the inflection and excitement level of the entire book sounds much the same. Scott has a wonderful voice and I have enjoyed his narration in a lot of books over the years. At this point though I’m hearing the same tone, pace, and excitement level all the time. So it doesn’t have the kind of impact that it could.

Hope my review convinced you to try this and others from this author. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
