Perfection

all of the legacies of God's books are perfect, and this last one of the series did not let me down. I was laughing, crying, and could not put down this book. Narrators did an amazing job as well!!!

This audiobook deserves all the stars! I love the duet-style narration team of Shane East and Zara Hampton-Brown.

I could listen to Shane East read the yellow pages! He elevates every story he reads and injects so much passion and emotion into his narration. I think I melted when he said: “You want me to lose control, Mrs. King?" Yes, please!

I highly recommend this audiobook experience.

📚 Story Review 📚
This book put me through it! It was like watching a train wreck, knowing everything was destined to come apart in a fiery crash but also being unable to look away. I did something I never do—I skipped to the end to make sure they got their HEA. I NEEDED that HEA. I needed to know it would all work out in the end.

My biggest issue with the book was the virgin FMC/manwh_re MMC micro-trope. That aside, I enjoyed the relationship and character-building. The answer to the never-ending question of how these two ended up married when they despised one another. How these enemies became lovers.

God of War is a medium burn and spicy MF romance. Don’t go in expecting sweet love-making. It’s volatile and intense.

This book can be read as a complete standalone.

Perfect ending to the Rina-verse

When the last name King shows up in the Rina-verse, rest assured you will not be left disappointed. From the family bloodline that gave us Jonathan and Aiden, we fulfill the promise that Aiden made to Cole that they would be in-laws and Eli would marry his Ava. Little did we imagine how Rina would tie so much together from the generations using the histories and grudges of the past, friendships past and present, and new found relationships that were created through the Legacy of the Gods series to culminate into this strong end with a couple that was so hard fought to find their HEA. An interconnected standalone that at the very least best understood if you start with God of Malice and read/listen to the series, but so much richer by at least reading the elites series with Aiden and Elsa and then Cole and Silver's book. Shane and Zara give an amazing performance as always. Cannot wait until Rina shows us what she has up for us next.

Shattered Heart

Rina Kent never cease to amaze me! I knew I’d love Eli but damn !! Like Father, like Son! Did not know where their story would start and go but I pleasantly and willingly enjoyed the whiplash from all the twist and turns coming from left! Beautiful ending… May the hangover commence.
