Amazing Dark Romance that Must be read!

I am so in love and I don’t care who knows it!!! This book was so amazing! I loved every second of this book! Ryat Anderson Archer is your over possessive alpha-hole who becomes obsessed with his chosen one Blakely. And when I say he is possessive, I mean he is possessive! The plot in this book was so incredible it literally sucks you in from the beginning. The SPICE, oh my God the spice was freaking AMAZING!!! 🔥🔥 I loved this book so much not only for the plot or the spice but because I could relate to Blakely so much. I felt heard but mostly I felt understood! I loved that about this book! I can’t thank Author Shantel Tessier for this book. I can go on and in about this book but you have to experience it for yourself. If you have read this book I highly recommend this book! You can thank me later! 😉

I absolutely loveddd Ryat’s character and his need to protect Blakely from her ex Matt. I love how he never judged her for her kinks and embraced her for who she was!

I read the book a while ago and had to listen to audio this time and it was still perfect! Love Ryat and Blake!

NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED….

When I saw ‘Crime Thriller’ & ‘Romantic Suspense’ as the description of this book at the bottom by Audible…I thought 💭 okay I love crime thrillers!! Romantic Suspense..sounded interesting. I’m not a huge fan of mushy romance but a little bit is fine 😉. My favorite genre is crime, suspense and psychological thrillers.(which I know this book did not claim to be) Yet, it mentioned the description crime thriller and suspense so I guess I had my hopes up😬 To be honest (& feel free to laugh @ me) I thought the description “Dark” just meant that it would be a book about more intense, violent, graphic murders etc. Like we would get to see into a deep, dark world of an underground secret society of hit man or something. Which would be an intriguing place like an accident scene where you just can’t help yourself but look.
WOW…. WAS I COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY WHEN I REALIZED THAT “DARK” ..meant….H O T EROTIC S E X 🫣🥵😛😍and TONS of it!!! 😂 Totally the opposite of what I was expecting!!! I had to laugh at myself!!! It was not a Crime Thriller in any sense!! It should be labeled Erotica and you could add Suspense.
***There are MANY complaints about the Narrator’s’ abilities …. and the Solution is to Speed Up their talking.
~Needless to say, the entire description of this book was only a sliver of what this book is really about!! It is definitely about a secret society of Lords and Ladies but it actually has a Really great story that goes along with it. With heartbreak, love, betrayal, backstabbing, jealousy, hate, cruelty, definitely a lot of sex, loyalty and secrets. It is an unexpected, amazing book that I definitely recommend for the strong reader 🩷🩷

Amazing dark romance! This is by far one of the best books for a dark romance. Can’t wait to see the other two books that goes with this series. Shantel Tessier is such an amazing author. Excited to read more books from her!

This book has many triggers so be sure to do your research lol. It is a dark romance hehe. The way every chapter had me gasping 😂 if you like spicy, then this is for you !!

This was a great audio book. New favorite. Now I have to find another just as good.

overall good book

To start off I HATED the male voice, he emphasizes the wrong words and phrases and pauses in the wrong places it was soo irritating. about a third of the way through it pissed me off less just because I was used to it but God it was awful and everytime he did a female voice he made it sound like she was moaning or whining. cringe. female voice was fine.

story overall was good, a few parts were really gross but I have a slight aversion to spit. otherwise everything I enjoy in a book. Peril, love, friends, plot twists. I would definitely recommend to anyone that doesn't have any triggers. (there aren't any child related things that happen but they hit just about everything else someone might want a trigger warning for)

Extra Spicy

If you like extra spicy stories and though 50 Shades was pure vanilla…you will love this story.
