Last story was most interesting

Disliked Jane’s story. Annoying know it all feminazi. Jane being a writer thought she knew more about military tactics than someone that served in the military

Repetitive Context

Constantly repeating emotional context is not how you put emphasis on drama. Jane would do anything for her son (Got it) Jane feels bad about not remembering the travelers (Got it). Too many gaps in reality.

BAD

No clue what they are writing about. Did no research on the topic and it shows. Not even sure how this book got published. Out of 200 books this is the first time I was rooting for the bad guys just to end the book.

Unnecessary swearing

Started out great, then they add a “drunken sailor” as a main character. Not everyone talks like that. Kept listening in hopes he got killed off. But I couldn’t make it thru the basement.

Not a series

I hate when they do box sets but it isn’t books about 1 story it is 3 or 4 different stories. The stories were ok but I was expecting 1 long story not several
