Sweet love story

Sweet love story. A little predictable, but I liked it. Loved the accent. I liked the relationship with Ms Sullivan

This is the first time R. Wesson hasn’t provided an exciting adventure/romance.
The romance plodded along slowly and the exciting, adventurous parts weren’t really there for me.
When the main character faints and the antagonist pulls out a six shooter, it’s like, ok, that’s it, no further action necessary. The next thing you know, there she is, safely home.
I’d have appreciated more descriptive detail about…just about everything, I guess. What was going through the mind of the other characters? The villain had some baggage but it was only hinted at. The guy wasn’t frightening or threatening, he was a ghost of a real person.
She cooked. But what did she cook and how did it smell? The sun was hot. But how did it feel? We learned well into the story that the our protagonist was stunningly beautiful which is kind of a handicap in a place with few woman. How did she feel about that?
Sorry this one fell flat. It just needed polishing up.

Touching story

I liked the overall story. The narrator was a bit whiney and insipid at times when speaking as the younger girls. I would still recommend as a clean love story

the ending definitely wasn't what you think it would be. so well written and hard to stop listening because you wanted to hear what happened next.
