Start building bridges instead of barriers! This essential guide offers a simple five-part framework that will help you have honest and enlightening conversations despite deep and fundamental disagreements.

Divisions are on the rise around the world, and 2024 may well be a peak year. We're losing the ability to disagree without dehumanizing. There is a deep need for this practical and accessible guide to having challenging conversations in any situation, from the workplace to the classroom to the dinner table.

It's not about saying the right words at the right time but something vastly deeper. In this book, you'll discover the five pillars of respectfully disagreeing: Challenge Your Perspective, Be the Student, Cultivate Your Curiosity, Seek the Gray, and Agree to Respect.

With a wide range of examples and exercises throughout, this is a timely and user-friendly handbook to disagreeing with someone's ideology while passionately pursuing their humanity.

five is the best chapter ever. it really helped me view the world entirely different. understanding what dehumanizing really means and trying to process with superiority really does to other people. This chapter really covered in detail why it's important to understand others, hear them out and treat them as an equal. it was really touching and it really made me reflect on so many experiences in my life. this book overall has so many great examples as to why people should try and understand each other and not dismiss anyone's opinion. overall it was very meaningful and worth reading.

A lot of repeating and not a great narrator. I simply couldn't listen. Had to return. Sorry.

Hard to follow.
