Hook at his sexy sweet best…Tick Tock.
I have been waiting for this audio release for months and it’s far better than expected. Stellar and salacious voice performances. This is the most enchanting way to pick up the thread of the delectable Vicious Lost Boys . Nikki St. Crowe has done it again! Worth the credit and minutes spent listening.

OMG I need more!!!😈🫠🥹
I have been waiting for the story for a while, and it did not disappoint! But it is too short I need so much more!! Narrators are absolutely phenomenal and embodied the characters so well. I love this retelling universe!!! I could listen to Shane East and Robert Hatchet forever 🥵

Man after the way the last book ended I had big hopes. Nikki crushed them. This is the MMF we wanted. I loved the change of scenery but how quick paced it was still. And after that last sentence?!? Shut up, can’t wait for more!!!

Great storyline, perfect performance.
Fascinating backstory on Hook and Wendy. The dynamic between Rock and Hook keeps you on the edge. I agree with other reviewers, wishing it was longer because I enjoyed it so much. The performance is yet again perfection.

The two main characters
I have one major complain about this book: it should be much-much longer! I could have listened Shane East’s voice for a week or two longer. I devoured it in less than a day (pun absolutely intended).
The story picks up after the Vicious Lost Boys series ended. I strongly recommend reading (or better yet listen) to the first four books before this one. This story revolves around Captain Hook and Crocodile. I loved how they got closer after being mortal enemies forever.
There is a Wendy Darling of course, and court politics, intrigue and evil witches. To tell the truth, I wasn’t much invested in Wendy. The dynamics between Roc and Hook was more than enough to enjoy the book, and I could have more of their changing relationship. I would be happy with them searching for a little bit longer, a few side quests here and there leading to the bedroom would have been nice addition.
This book has only 1,5 smutty scenes which is almost nothing compared to the other Never King books. There is more thinking about each other, which is sweet and tingly.
There is a cliffhanger at the epilogue, but at least this way we can be sure that there will be other books with our favorite pirate and his Crocodile. Please, Nikki, write faster!

Such an incredible take on a classic fairy tale!!
This writer never ceases to amaze me!!
A page turning adventure from the first word to the very last!!
The narration is equally as great ( makes the characters rock) !!
It is a , hurry the heck up and write the next book, cliffhanger!!
I started this adventure with the Pan series ( Highly recommend) and have not been disappointed at all!!
Absolutely Freaking worth every bit of credit or coin, just get the books … you will not regret!!!!!
