Publisher's summary
My journey into the world of spiritual nudity didn't start in some exotic retreat or secret shamanic ceremony. Nope, it began one ordinary Tuesday when I accidentally locked myself out of my house in nothing but my birthday suit. There I was, stark naked, hiding behind my mailbox, pondering the mysteries of the universe while waiting for the locksmith. And let me tell you, when it’s just you and the great outdoors with not a stitch on, you start to think about more than just where you left your keys.
Since then, I’ve discovered that stripping down isn't just about shedding clothes; it’s about peeling away the layers of who we think we are supposed to be, to reveal who we truly are underneath it all—quite literally. It’s about vulnerability, authenticity, and getting a really even tan.
In this book, I’ll take you through the historical nooks and crannies, the psychological alleyways, and the spiritual open spaces where nudity isn’t just allowed; it’s welcomed with open arms and a warm (hopefully not too warm) breeze. We’ll explore how embracing your nakedness can open doors to deeper spiritual connections and lead to a happier, healthier you. And yes, we’ll talk about how to handle the giggles, the judgment, and the chilly days because spirituality doesn’t come with a thermostat.
As you venture with me into this world where clothes are optional but laughter is mandatory, you'll discover that being nude does more than just save on laundry. It’s a way to deeply connect with the essence of who you are, your spirit. Think of each piece of clothing as a metaphorical barrier—each layer you remove helps to unveil not just your skin, but also a layer of the spiritual self that’s been tucked away, perhaps shy or stifled under societal expectations.
When you strip down, you’re not just dropping fabric; you’re shedding worries, insecurities, and societal judgments. It’s like peeling off sticky labels from a beautiful vase—suddenly, what’s left is just the pure, unadorned you. And let’s face it, isn’t there something profoundly liberating about dancing around without worrying about tripping over a trouser leg or getting your shirt caught on a doorknob? Imagine that freedom expanding into the spiritual realm, where your soul dances just as freely.
Nudity can also amplify your connection to the natural world, grounding you literally and metaphorically. Standing barefoot on the earth, feeling the wind, sun, or even rain on your skin, connects you directly with nature, no filters in between. This connection energizes your spirit, reminding you that you are part of something larger, a universal whole.
In the chapters to come, we'll dive into meditation practices that are, let’s say, best performed in the nude. Ever tried meditating without the constraint of clothes? It’s a sensation of openness, a physical manifestation of mental unbinding. We'll explore how these moments of naked meditation can help cultivate a deeper sense of peace and oneness with the universe.
So, as we journey together through these pages, let’s challenge ourselves to disrobe the unnecessary, to stand proudly in our essence, and to connect with our spirits in the most unfiltered way possible. Here’s to finding enlightenment—or at least, a very enlightened state of undress!
Shed your clothes—and your preconceptions—and come join me on this cheeky adventure. Let’s bare it all and find out what spiritual secrets we can uncover when we dare to bare. Who knows? You might just find out that the path to enlightenment is a lot less cluttered when you’re not tripping over your undergarments.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
This audiobook is a long-awaited major statement by a pre-eminent analytic philosopher, Alvin Plantinga, on one of our biggest debates - the compatibility of science and religion. The last twenty years has seen a cottage industry of books on this divide, but with little consensus emerging. Plantinga, as a top philosopher but also a proponent of the rationality of religious belief, has a unique contribution to make. His theme in this short book is that the conflict between science and theistic religion is actually superficial, and that at a deeper level they are in concord.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Mystics and sages have long maintained that there exists an interconnecting cosmic field at the roots of reality that conserves and conveys information, a field known as the Akashic record. Recent discoveries in vacuum physics show that this Akashic field is real and has its equivalent in science's zero-point field that underlies space itself. This field consists of a subtle sea of fluctuating energies from which all things arise: atoms and galaxies, stars and planets, living beings, and even consciousness.

Story
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.
