I love this books. I think they was wrote wonderfully. I love the narrative was wonderful and 🔥.

Raphael & Carina

This was my favorite book and characters in the series. The story spans 4 books, but unfortunately, only 3 are available as of April 2026, which is a bummer. Anyway, Raphael was such a well rounded character. He’s hilarious, insatiable & fiercely loyal. For her part, Carina is everything Raphael didn’t know he needed. She is so traumatized but she never gives up and her devotion to her younger sister is so warming, especially after what we saw at the family dinner. If the 3 books I was able to read, this was the only one that didn’t feel too rushed. I purchased the audio book and was so happy the series was narrated by Aiden Snow.

In Book 1, the angsty relationship between the characters keeps readers engaged with the unfolding plot. However, Book 2 is quite different and, unfortunately, dull. So, I struggled to read it from beginning to end, hoping to uncover more about the unspoken truths and feelings from Book 1. Half of this book 2 focuses on the protagonist's poetic inner thoughts, which often repeats the sentiment of wanting something but feeling unable to attain it. Additionally, 25% of the book presents a different plot, while the remaining 25% delves into themes of intimacy.
