Autism & Neurodivergence Part 1

Sandra and Monique discuss all things Autism & Neurodivergence. Sandra talks about her journey and experiences to getting her son diagnosed, the hoop jumping, and schools placement. She describes the various processes she went through and what retrospectively was valid and what was wasteful. She talks about what helped and what didn’t. Sandra also shares the emotional, time and financial costs involved. Sandra and Monique discuss ideas for improved conditions both within the education and service provision systems and about how a central systems approach could be far more productive, financially sustainable and less stressful, collectively.
