A sailor recalls the monstrous terror that lay at the bottom of the deep in this, Lovecraft’s earliest tale of unspeakable horror from outside our universe.

This is a new version of the classic tale of the hideous creature. The narrator has a rather scratchy voice, so it was a bit difficult to understand him. I have a version by the HP Lovecraft Historical Society and it was excellent. Didn't quite have the punch their version did. They also do a fantastic audio drama of it as well.

it was short and very scary, but still very cool. It made a lot more sense to me than The call of Cthulhu in terms of words. Otherwise, it was a fun romp and a short lived, very confusing journey.
