Cosmic Horror

This is the one that kicked off an entire mythos that still has stories being added to it almost 100 years later. It’s classic though I wouldn’t call it Lovecraft’s best work.

The narrator was excellent. The person who did the introduction? Terrible. Couldn’t even be bothered to learn how to say “Cthulhu”.

Classic subject

Of course there can be no denying how beautifully crafted this story is. The performance was clean but seemed rushed at times. A little tension and drama might have been nice.

Fun story with a great performance!

Gave it a go after a recommendation and I will say it doesn't disappoint. The narrator is awesome throughout and the story builds slowly into a creepy mystery.

Good reader but wrong voice.

This is an old ominous take that needs an old ominous voice. The reader was clear and capable, but I needed a more foreboding tone.

The great ones from Bloodborne?

I really loved this book, I'm just young and they used such big words that I had to go pick it up at the library to understand better. I have always wanted to read it and I still don't understand everything so I may read it again. It was honestly scary and I highly recommend it, just get the book and listen while reading, it's much easier that way.
