Mixed feelings

This was sort of hit and miss. Some books played seamlessly, others seemed to loop again and againg until it become very annoying. I checked my app to verify I didn't have it set to loop and no, I didn't!

Peoples tastes differ, maybe some of these classics are better read at a leisurely pace, but there were at least two that made me stop midway and move on.

The cast is absolutely on point and the selection of titles covers the very best of American literature up to the mid-twentieth century. I would heartily recommend!

Not for me

A collection of classics. If you're a history buff, I'm sure this will be right up your alley. For me, it's outdated and hard to stay focused on. These stories aren't in my genre at all, but being classics, I felt obligated to give them a chance. I think they deserve that chance, it's just not for me.

The best way to practice English exercise as both language and literature

Narrators are so great enough as to move your mind, so that i strongly recommend this title of American literature books 📚.

painful

As I listened my way through this collection, if these were the chosen titles, I understand why public school children for decades have detested forced reading. There were a couple of titles that were tolerable, but most are narrative only. There is sparse dialog in most. I enjoyed Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Little Women. The rest were mainly a chore to live through and several I did not finish. I would not recommend this collection.
