Great book, Bad narrator

The story is intriguing with a great start to world building. I am excited to see what comes next.

The narrator is horrible. He sounds like someone doing a breathy imitation of Captain Kirk from ToS Star Trek. As well as making a 20~ man sound like he is in his late 50s with a smokers voice.

once again when you see actus name on it you know it will be good. a good amount of action, time crafting and overall world building. once I started couldn't stop until I finished. Can't wait for the next installment

I would suggest this book to a lot of my friends it's a good book I enjoyed it it's really long but it didn't drag out you know like it never felt like the author was just trying to write for time and make filler if that makes any sense

wow what a story. The book is so detailed and does a splendid job making these pages come to life. Thank you for the experience.

Entertaining

The primary characters are easy to become invested in and the story is similar to other "Forge" novels but unique enough to escape the formulaic moniker. Most of the primary characters have well-developed individual hardships and the major thrust of the story is one of struggling to right past wrongs. Some areas are lightly developed but not enough to significantly detract for the plot. The pacing moves forward nicely. There are a number of twists with some easily anticipated and some left unrevealed.

Peter Berkrot's performance is done well but lacks a bit on the female tenor.

I plan to continue the series.
