This was my first time reading a book by Deborah Garland, I’m not sure it will be the last though. 

Riordan was probably one of my favorite book boyfriends now. His love and respect for Prissy as a teenager, and then the OTT personality when he realized it was her truly was amazing. Not going to lie, his accent? I was MELTING for Riordan.

Prissy was a little annoying. Maybe it was just the narrator or maybe it was the character, but she was so back and forth about what she wanted IMO. I understand why she was back and forth, she wanted revenge, but she also wanted the life she dreamt of with Riordan.

NOT hating on the book, and NOT hating on the characters, because I thoroughly enjoyed this book (listening to it while unpacking my new kitchen), but I guess I was just wanting more of them being together.

Loved it. Stayed up way too late to finish this story and loved it. Hot and the voices are soo good. Gonna go back to listen to the others.
Story stand alone so I was happy and enjoying it.

Great story TERRIBLE accents

Loved the story. The narration was really good if you can get past the accents. The female narrator should stick to her American accent. Her Irish brogue and Russian accent were awful. Other than that the audiobook was entertaining and engaging.

I'm going to start off by saying I'm a sucker for Accents 🥵💦 and @logan_anare_vo, @lexievans_audiobook_narrator, @narratortylergriffin, @duran.troy were 😗🤌🏻 they had the best Irish accents that  made you swoon!! I loved the grunts, the growls, the angry words, it was perfect.

Riordan is a  Irish mob boss, and Priscilla is a former Irish mob boss daughter and now an undercover FBI agent. She poses as a Russian sub for the Russian mobsters who are at war with the Irish mob. Pris and Riordan have years long "unresolved" feelings. For him, it was always Priscilla - and it always will be. Their chemistry is palpable, and I really enjoyed listening to their story. I can't wait to read/listen to all the books in this series 💚

I loved Riordan's story. The banter and emotion between him and Priscilla was top notch. The way the narrator protrayed Riordan's shock and suprise and sarcasm was absolutely brilliant, especially when reading Priscalla's romance books. 😂☠️
