I love that they used their voices in coordination with the book... Great voices on these characters

where do I start

the make narrator was awful, he ruined the book. monotone and he kept pronouncing "capo" wrong. it was annoying.
His capo spoke more like a PA.

The FMC narrator was excellent! She was the best part of the audiobook.

it is a duet narration which was a bonus.

read the book instead.

It's a great short story. I couldn't put it down. The build up could've been longer, but great for what it was.

Female narrator

Milo starts out as a harda$$, a real SOB, it took the woman from Sicily with a sexy accent to bring him back to life. I enjoyed the story.

The female narrator was wonderful. The male character clearly doesn’t understand consent. I’ve read forced marriage books that were far less cruel than this. It makes me want to ask the male character “ummm who hurt you?”

SEX & SUB/DOM DEMORSALIZING HIGH.. actual plot low

New author to me.. thought I’d try her out.. but sadly it’s definitely not for me. I’ve stuck this utter rubbish out for as long as I can (four long and frustratingly boring hours) but now, sorry, I’m finally done!! Done with the lack of depth or anything interesting in the.. cough cough.. plot. Done with the extremely dislikable dominant hero who ignores please of mercy, disrespects, uses cruel cold-hearted words to take down and cut deep. Done with the bossy Daddy, Sir, BDSM too hard punishments in the nasty and unromantic sex scenes. Done with the constant dehumanizing, demoralizing and demeaning ‘teachings’ of his wife. Done with the weak Mafia lite plot, the lack of chemistry, the denials of feelings, the heartless claiming of her virginity. And this heroine, if she’s not gasping for breath with Daddy’s cock choking his dirty little whore, he’s mating her, he’s claiming her, and he’s breeding her. There’s vague consent given for first a virgin’s first time with normal and 🍆🍩.

Worth a credit? Hmmm🤔.. well it’s not going to be a shocker to you all that I’m going to say no way. The narration was good though.

Cruel Obsession

My first 🎧book by this author and I’m a bit disappointed. The storyline had potential but the narration was a fail. I’m not sure what the process is in selecting the narrator’s but this duo was a not good. In order for the listeners to really enjoy the audiobook the narrator’s have to sell you the magic written in the pages and make you feel like you’re a part of the experience and this didn’t happen here! The MMC kept mispronouncing CAPO that was so distracting but mostly annoying , ugh. The one good thing is that the main characters get their HEA. Is it worth a credit? I would say it’s a no for me but if you’re not swayed from mediocre narration then give it a go & good luck.🍀

Poorly executed

This was a poorly written story. I kept hoping it would get better but it didn't. I couldn't finish it, what a waste of money. Conner Goff should not perform any type of gangster, his voice is too mellow.
