This is a GREAT story!

I've always like when someone mixes modern day military tactic in a medieval world. Max does this and crushes everyone in his path. However, he has to convince the other chiefs that his way of fighting is best and that he should be the one to train their combined forces. This brings now comes Basic Training to this new reality.

There are a lot of other things that are going on at the same time...like his relationships. There is someone waiting to join Max's harem, and he has a child on the way. Let's not forget the 2 kids he basically adopted in book 1. All-in-all this is an excellent sequel to the first book and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Saxon Max 2: War Chief by JG Jerome, narrated by Jonathan Waters and Maeve York is a time-traveling team-building gone wild adventure! Jerome's writing will transport you back in time to Northern Germany, where Max and his team are forced to survive in a dangerous world full of Frankish raids and the Roman army, all while adapting to a new way of life. Waters and York do a fantastic job narrating, bringing the characters and the story to life with their engaging performances. If you're a fan of time-traveling survival stories, "Saxon Max 2: War Chief" is a must-read (or listen)!

Another great book by J G Jerome. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Warchief Max

I received a free copy to give my honest opinion, trying to minimize spoilers. This book continues right where the last book left off. Max and his ladies adapt to their new environment. They earned the local's respect and use their future knowledge to survive and organize a resistance against the Roman empire and her allies. Overall a fun book you can enjoy.

HOT DAMN!!! need the next book

OMG what a great series! i know that the author has another job but i desperately wish the next book would come out soon. It is good to get a refresher from the first book but is not 100% necessary. lots of fun, and great story.
