Law enforcement agencies have chosen to ignore rather than investigate dozens of political figures and defectors who have died under mysterious circumstances. When a Democratic National Committee staff member is murdered before the presidential election, Washington, D.C. police is also uninterested in investigating the crime.

The President is well behind in the polls. Some powerful people want assurances that the President will never take the oath of office if he unexpectedly wins.

On Election Day, the Central Intelligence Agency Director uncovers treachery at the highest levels of his organization. A rogue group of senior intelligence officers may have exposed themselves for who they really are before disappearing with a secret experimental weapon. Mounting evidence suggests the President may be in peril but the Secret Service isn’t interested in conspiracy theories or implausible weapons with impossible capabilities.

Will CIA pilot Duncan Hunter save the President from a group of assassins?

Another great storyline as part of a interesting series, but again, the audio editing is the worst I’ve heard in hundreds of audio books

Another great story/series, extraordinarily bad audio editing

I like the story. The narrator isn’t fantastic, but you can still listen. The editing is atrocious or nonexistent. It would be a very simple job to fix. I’m surprised no one has done that. If I was the author, I would want this edited quickly or re-recorded.

Nonexistent audio editing. Very poorly edited.

I have over1100 books in my library and this is by far the worst production of an audio book. There are so many time that a sentence or paragraph repeats. There are times that you hear “testing one two three “. At one point there is several minutes of dead space. Also chapter nine is completely missing you hear “chapter nine chapter nine chapter 10”. Who ever was supposed to edit this completely failed. They didn’t even go through the book. Also it is recorded at a lower level than other books, the narrator sounds like he’s not in a studio but a bad podcast setup in his house. Also the narrator doesn’t do a good job of characterization his voice, sometimes he’s got a good accent for the character and then later on changes the accent.
The book itself is a typical Hunter book.
