Absolutely loveeeed this!! It’s the perfect Halloween read 🤌🏻
The story was honestly so good. Heartbreak, spookiness, warmth, emotional… ughhh🥲🤍 the spice be spicing toooo!

God damn! I picked a good one for my first! The plot twist in the end was something I didn’t see coming.

What a great story!!!

The author definitely put an imagination to the upmost creative degree. Couldn’t help but to fall in love with all the characters.

The suspense

I liked the twists and surprises in the story , don’t care so much for the explicit sex parts but it was ok

Ahh where to begin with Grimstone?!
I didn’t have the pleasure of eyeball reading this one BUT the audio is absolutely incredible 🙌🏻
Victoria and Connor are a fantastic pairing: I couldn’t imagine anyone else to bring Remi and Dane to life.
I loved kicking off spooky szn with Sophie’s newest release! I can always count on her to deliver suspenseful, spicy, and twisty stories, and Grimstone hit right on the money for me.

This story by Sophie Lark (new to me) is perfect for the Fall/Halloween season -- a trip to an eerie little town where the people are strange, quirky, and like to gossip about all of the weird, mysterious happenings. The writing is highly descriptive -- sound, smell, touch, and appearance told in vivid, and sometimes eerie detail! There's nightmares, hidden cameras, mysterious disappearances, suspicious accidents, ghost tales, and a twisty ending. The narration was by Victoria Connolly (new to me) and Connor Crais. The acting was great. Very easy to listen to. Really liked Remi and Dane -- great chemistry. Not my usual kind of listen/read, but kept me interested! Enjoyed it very much.

A smext mystery

I enjoyed it. I even bought the second book. I usually listen to mafia dark romance but this had enough to keep my interest.

Dane and Remi

Wasn’t what I was expecting! It was so much better! The mystery kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved all the little nuances of this small gothic town!

It is painful to admit hard truths. But it’s incredibly healing to be forgiven and loved in spite of them.

I'm so glad I started spooky season with this romantic suspense!! I was hooked from the epigraph 😅

Remi and her brother inherent  their uncle's  rundown Victorian home in a gloomy town with very weird people and even a weirder neighbor. Her plan is to renovate it and sell it, but the house seems haunted 😶‍🌫️ This book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It felt like the best rollercoaster ride 🎢 If you’re looking for spooky and eerie vibes, I highly recommend this book asap!! I could always count on @sophie_lark_author to deliver sick and twisted with the spice extra spicy 😗🤌🏻

Wow! What a story! This was such a wild ride and I rarely knew where things were going. Remi buys a new house with her brother in a new town to renovate. But it comes with the grumpiest neighbor who has many bad rumors about him throughout town. Dane is a recluse who doesn't do much but work the night shift since losing his wife and son.

Dane and Remi start out on a bad foot absolutely hating each other. But their chemistry quickly sparks. Dane falls head over heels and there is no denying their pull. The spice.... It's SPICIN!!!

There's mystery, suspense, ghosts?!, body parts, murder, swoony moments and more!

The audio!! so good! I felt like I was inside a movie.
