Publisher's summary

She's the daughter of a serial killer… They're FBI agents…

No one knows Freya is actually the daughter of the Cross-Cut Killer, America's most notorious serial killer. Living under a false identity as a detective is isolating but at least Freya's safe. That is until she falls onto the radar of Special Agent River Park and his team.

River, Oz, Elijah, and Jude have been chasing the Cross-Cut Killer for years. They're the best the FBI has to offer, not to mention unfairly attractive. They know exactly who the killer is but he's always one step ahead of them. Freya is about to change that.

When Freya's true identity is uncovered, she's forced to work with River and his team. All Freya wants is to catch her father, getting involved with not one but four FBI agents would be a very bad idea.

River and his team aren't prepared for the spitfire young woman who's too pretty for her own good. She's hiding more than scars, and a woman with secrets might just be kryptonite to a group of profilers.

Killer of Mine is a mature new adult romance with elements of enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, darker moments, and open-door spice. This is a why-choose romance, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book one of a planned trilogy but does not end on a big cliffhanger. For mature listeners.

Killer of Mine

Such a fantastic audiobook!!! I have loved Killer of Mine since I first read it, and I am blown away by how much more I enjoyed it as an audiobook. The narrators both did such an amazing job with these characters. I highly recommend this one!!

Exciting and sexy!

I enjoyed the fast pace of this book as well as the mystery of what Freya is lying about. Narration was excellent and I’m looking forward to the following book in the series.

Rushed

3.5⭐️ 3🌶 I was expecting a lot more spice. The relationships didn't seem very developed. The serial killer storyline was interesting.

Great book…highly recommend.

I like both of the narrators. Loved this ok and looking forward to the next one. I like that the cliffhanger was more a lead than a major cliffhanger. Brooke Daniel’s is a narrator I enjoy listening to but she fell a little flat on the male voices in this narration. Really bad when she tried to do Oz’s accent. Male narrator did a good with the male voices. That being said, I still think they did a good job. I know it’s expensive to pay for dual narration and even more expensive for duet narration. Yes this book would be even better in duet, but I can also understand that voice actors are expensive. I would rather hear a duel narration than an AI narration with only 1 voice with no distinction between characters.

You go Freya

If you want more then just romance then you’ll like this book. I love the guys and their relationship with each other and so far I can actually see them as one big happy family. It also has some twists too. At times it can be a little slow, but it’s definitely worth a credit. I can see this as a soap opera especially with all the daddy issues she would actually have! I’m excited for the next book :)

How to ruin a great book 101

I bought the ebook a week ago and absolutely loved it. Killer of mine is a wonderful combination of a thriller, reverse harem, mystery and bdsm. And I was looking forward to the audiobook.

Now, the publisher went to the trouble of getting two narrators. We have Gabriel Michael, who does great male voices and okay female voices. And Brooke Daniels, who does great female voices and pretty terrible male voices. She's the kind of narrator who can't do male voices, so she just makes them scratchy. Nasty to listen to.

But no problem right? Daniels can do all the female voices and Michael all the male ones and you have a perfect audiobook. Each character has one consistent voice throughout voiced by the narrator best suited to it. But no, it's dual narration. Which means we hear every character voiced wonderfully one chapter, then horribly the next. For the life of me I don't understand why publishers make these decisions. Why on earth bother getting both a male and a female narrator when they both end up having to do all the voices anyway?

Please fire whoever is responsible for this. I love listening to my favourite books on audio and Killer of Mine has quickly become one of my favourite books. It's such a disappointment when the audiobook doesn't do it justice because poor decisions were made. Listeners deserve better and Grace deserves better.
