I like the story, it fits in well with the rest of the series. I see why it ended where it did, a nice cliffhanger, but it was short. About ½ the size of others in the series. Hopefully the next will be back to normal, or a little longer.

This series is so well written that I have to remind myself it’s not real. A man encounters a space ship underwater during a dive and ends up being chosen to introduce earthlings to interstellar travel and first contact. So many advances including nanites, gravity drives, antimatter drives, laser and plasma weapons, using asteroids as weapons, cures for addiction, ptsd, dementia, organ printing, and ways to reverse devastating injuries. If only. Then he is charged with redistribution of wealth, political power, and reversion of climate problems on earth. It’s his precocious genius daughter that is his secret weapon. Each installment is fun, out of this world, and will make you search science terms like gravity. Really exciting and entertaining.
