Great narrators!

Great narrators! Story different than other mafia romances. Only complaint is some times too much reflection. Character went on and on with her self talk. Otherwise great!

The perfect mafia romance

I don’t read a lot of dark romances because they can be too dark and disturbing for me. But this was a good balance of dark and still enjoyable and interesting! I liked the characters and their twisted back stories. I am interested in reading more about them! My one complaint is that the female narrator is a little whiny and breathy at times. Still enjoyed it a lot!

Little over the top

All of these types of stories are,but this one was kinda sickening the way they were acting toward V. I mean they had just met her??? Other than that it was ok,nothing wow,hopefully not yet anyways. Narrators did a good job always a sucker for men speaking another language 💗Cliffhanger so Im gonna have to continue.

Exciting lust and love

what is the difference between lust and love? its a fine line that Veronica was about to learn. The missing piece to the Mafia brother's harsh twisted life. The reading voices were on point and added that depth of visualization needed to keep the reader hooked. This being the first Audible book, I've ever listened to, it completely surpassed my expectations! CAN'T WAIT FOR BOOK TWO! THE CLIFFHANGER SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!

The FMC voice is awful

I really tried to push on, but everytime it came back to being Veronica's chapter, I wanted to stop listening. I did make it to the beginning of chapter 24, but I just couldn't make myself suffer through listening to her voice any longer.
