read it and now heard it

I read the book now I heard the story and it's so good the Narrators did a great job. when I read the story and pictured the voices it's spot on for sure. the story is about the Irish mafia enforcer falling for the Russian Mafia princess who was supposed to marry some guy but enforcer was like hell no she mine and takes her for himself but it's all good becuz she like him lil crush on him so she was like yes please and she's a dancer too and he's all supportive of her career too so over all really good story Narrators did awesome highly recommend worth the credit.

Awe

Loved it. Loved how he was full on obsessed with her and their connection and chemistry. Such a good story. And the guys voice was hot!! Like panty melting. Especially during the spice scenes. God damn! *me panting*.

Katya and Lachlan

I really enjoyed this age gap book and would recommend all of the Astoria Royals series. Even though Lachlan was a k!ller, there was something really likeable about him. A Blessing in Disguise Romance that Danced Angelically in my Soul

Amen! I don’t know how she does it! I have adorable every book in this series and I keep thinking after finishing every entry, “There’s no way they can get any better…the new couple become my favorite…” And every time, I’m wrong.

Totally okay with that.

The twists hit hard within the first hour or so of the audiobook, our sweet ballerina making an innocent suggestion to help someone she loved set all the events in motion for this whole series! And the type of soul and dreams our brute of an enforcer had shook me to my core in the best way.

These two truly needed each other, complete the other, their rapport so touching that not only do you wish for that, you melt for the possibility of having someone like that at your side.

And I think we all relate to these two in someway. A girl who was ignored. A guy who will go to any links to protect, but he questions the morality of himself in secret because of it. The patient and loving they have for each other, even just as acquaintances is so beautiful. And of course really steamy in the appropriate ways. It balance both flawlessly.

The universe continues to build in the Astoria royals, although you can listen to the story on its own. And like the other stories, it has a cliffhanger for the next one.

With the cast expanding, I really love how each male from the previous stories get to come in and have cameos. Hearing DB West, Tyler, Griffin, and the superstar Logan Anare reprise their roles was a real treat. Lexi Evans has been the main lead for all four books and she is the queen of accents in this series! I follow her and her amazing career and I am just awestruck and so proud of the loveliness and heart she puts in every single female. And she had to really showcase this since all of the previous females also had cameos. I wanted to be best friends with Cat and I really appreciate how she does that. Lachlan was brilliantly played, and he had been hyped up for every book having cameos. It was great for him to be the lead and he did not disappoint. Hearing four different Irish accents and male voices was really a gift. Every voice was as comforting as a grilled cheese sandwich.

The realism of this one did hit me hard. And this is it no fault of the author, but I do want to mention it because I might not be the only person who has to deal with this. The scene at the school, no spoilers, really affected me. Which shows the power of the author of how they composed it. But, as an educator, I have actually been in this situation and it’s quite frightening and it did bring up some trauma for me. I just wasn’t expecting it and if I missed a trigger warning, then I apologize. But I’ll just say for anyone who’s had to go on lockdown at a school for an extreme, terrifying situation, that is in this book so before warned. I did have to pause the book for a day because it hit me so hard. But I do know that and I pray that I am in the very minority of that.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves spice, heart, wittiness, and of course, sexy Irish men with an edge. Especially once you are willing to tattoo.
