The story line

I loved it, and I loved all the different voices and characters having their voices heard!!!!

I really liked the first book and I definitely liked the second book now I just have to wait for the third book!

Oh Ruby, you poor brokenhearted girl.

Oh James, you poor brokenhearted boy.

These two are toxic, but I was still rooting for them to get back together after the dumpster fire that was the end of book 1. Ruby has a great sister and friends. James has the worst friends. They really could not be more opposite, but that's why they work.

Lydia's story is crazy. She's one of the nicest people in the book but is having the worst time, and I hate that for her. She's incredibly supportive of everyone else while expecting nothing, even though she needs support the most.

This series is the new Gossip Girl, complete with train wrecks and cliffhangers, and I love that for me. I can't wait for book 3!

The audiobook narration by Ella Lynch, Will Watt, Marisa Calin, and Alexandra Boulton was great. They all have pretty strong accents so there were times when I simply could not understand what they were saying at my usual speed, so I either had to slow it way down or open the book on Kindle to figure out what it was. But they all give off the most angsty performances, which is exactly what these characters call for.

Again, can't wait to read the next one. Did not expect the ending and how everything looped around.
