Didn’t love up to expectations

The book did not live up to expectations of the last 2 novels. Performance was well done. Book was not.

are you sure you have enough strong female chracters in this book justin???

i love minka lesk. but this feeel like celebration of your average D.e.i hero...you can do better justin

Bit of a spoiler

They killed off my favorite character the lord general Benedict and I don’t feel it was a great or deserved death but I guess that is also warhammer

Minka Lesk is outstanding

Adored Lesk and the rest of 7th Company, just wish they featured more in the initial half of the book. (for a book labeled as a Minka Lesk Novel, she feels almost like a rare pov chaeacter).

Great Character work followed by great action.

The story is grounded, not like some space marine bolter fantasy, and personable. The first half has lots of great character work, followed by thrilling action. A warhammer title at it's best.
